Do You Know What You Are
Buying?
The purchase of a new
home may be the biggest investment you will ever make.
Although this process may be very exciting, it can quickly become
overwhelming. The home you have selected may appear to be in perfect
condition & exactly what you've been looking for; However, unknown and
potentially serious defects could make this investment a costly one.
Having your property professionally inspected as early as possible in
the buying process is a wise idea. The Real Estate industry and
experienced homebuyers understand the importance of obtaining a
pre-purchase home inspection. DISCOVERY Real Estate Inspections is dedicated to providing you with valuable information about your
potential new home.
WE COULD SAVE YOU
THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
Important issues may exist that the current owner or builder may have
unintentionally overlooked that you do not want to inherit. Your
written report will be a unbiased, professional assessment & of the
physical structure, foundation, roofing, appliances & mechanical
systems of the home. Our goal is to observe and inform you of anything
that might affect your purchase decision. Our professional licensed
inspector will convey accurate,
important & detailed
information, giving you peace of mind with what may be the most
expensive and difficult purchasing decisions you will ever make.
In order to prepare the
report, an inspector must conduct a visual on-sight “discovery
inspection” of the house. This inspection typically takes 2 ˝ - 3
hours to complete. This of course may vary, according to the size &
condition of the home. We strongly encourage you to accompany the
inspector during the inspection. This will give you a chance to ask
questions and become familiar with the systems of the home.
We will inspect all the
structural elements, appliances and systems of the home. Items
typically inspected include:
· bearing &
non-load bearing framing
· interior &
exterior veneer wall coverings
· roof and attic
structure, insulation & ventilation
· foundation & lot
grading
· appliances &
water heaters
· electrical &
plumbing systems
· fireplaces,
heating and air conditioning systems
·
fencing, patios,
decks, stairs & hand railings
When your on-site inspection is complete, we will inform you of any
problems that were observed and discuss them with you. We will also
inform you about any routine maintenance that should be performed, as
well as answer questions that you may have about the home. Before any
inspections complete you'll receive a computer generated inspection
report.
